WEG will follow the traditional schedule with vaulting, followed by cross country and the jumping competition, deviating slightly as it moves into week two with the addition of Para-dressage and para-equestrian events. Also included in the second week is additional jumping as well as driving and reining through the end of the World Equestrian Games.

Martha Josey shares the following “words of wisdom” from her 3/9/10 Facebook page: “Practice, dedicated practice, the winner is going to devote time to that. The winner knows that the pain of practice is considerably less than the pain of not being prepared. Don’t ever let yourself lose for a reason you could have prevented. In other words, the winner is going to take care of every possibility. Anything that he or she can control will be taken care of to increase the chances of winning.” Thanks for sharing, Martha!

Dell Hendricks Wins 2010 Cowboy Capital Classic Horse Show
We received word from Dell and Terri Hendricks that Dell and All In One Wrangler, a 4-year-old son of Starlights Wrangler, won the 2010 Cowboy Capital Classic Horse Show “Dun Gotta Gun” Open Derby in Stephenville, Texas with a score of 224.5, for owners Glen & Peggy Reed. Also, Dell and Smart China Wrangler, a 5-year-old son of Starlights Wrangler, tied for 3rd at the show with a score of 222, for owner Adair Reiners, LLC.

Flarida Debuts Three – Seminole Hard Rock Reining Classic
Shawn Flarida showed up at the Seminole Hard Rock Reining Classic with three horses – horses he had never shown before. Read about this All-Time Leading Rider walking away with three great runs and paychecks by clicking here.
