- What's Your Feed Sponsorship Worth?
For those of you who don’t keep track of what your sponsorship is really
worth in dollars and cents . . . here’s something to think about. Since grain
prices are going through the roof, the retail value of a bag of Ultium is
around $17.00 to $19.00/bag. Take that dollar value and multiply it by
the number of bags you receive in your contract and ask yourself: "Do you
like the thought of not having a feed bill in exchange for a little Purina
Mills promoting?" Let me know your thoughts.

- Thanks for your sales leads!
For those of you sending in your lead sheets, thanks! We are having some
great conversations and contacts with your sales leads. This is what
it’s all about. Keep them coming!
- If Given the Opportunity, Let People Know Who Sponsors You!
Take advantage of it, let people know who sponsors you! I’ve noticed
several of you have been gracious enough to plug your sponsors, including
Purina Mills. Let the public know who you endorse. Give us a
little plug or two; let us know you appreciate your sponsors! .
- Make My Life Easier!
Keep me posted on what you are doing! You’ve got our expectations and
responsibilities for each of you, so help me make my life easier at the end of
the year at evaluation time. Keep me informed on what you’ve been doing
to promote Purina Mills. Also, don’t forget to keep sending those sales
leads in, too. Sell and promote Purina Mills--that’s why we have this
program. “The squeaky wheel gets oiled first!”
