Volume 1, Number 2
Thank you for the tremendous positive response we received from our first
Checkerboard Corral Electronic newsletter two weeks ago. I want this to be a
service to you to give you the latest news on equine events and clinics that are
happening here in the Midwest. Since our last e-mail, we have grown from about
2,000 e-mail recipients to over 6,500.
There are a lot of neat events, meeting, and sales coming up on the calendar.
Try to make plans to attend some of them. Be watching for a Purina Equine Health
Day going on in your area. Coming up this Thursday is one that we are holding at
Sand Creek Feed in Ottawa, KS. John Duckworth will be doing a seminar on hoof
care, and we will be doing a session on Equine Nutrition. I will try to have
some more dates for you on the next letter.
By the time you get the next letter, our kids will be back in school. Wow! How
the summer has flown by. What a relief it was to hear from Luke last week, our
son who is with the Marines in Iraq. He is doing fine, and we have about 45 days
before he will be back in the States. Keep him, along with all of our
servicemen, in your prayers.
We really appreciate those of you who are doing business with us and Purina. If
we can be of help, don’t ever hesitate to let us know. Any way we can make your
experience with your horse or horses better, we want to try to help.
Take care!
Ernie
