The American Royal Pro Rodeo presented by Phillips 66 is celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year! Come down to the Royal to see the region's top cowboys and cowgirls compete for almost $150,000 in prize money! The best of the best will be there to compete in bull riding, barrel racing, bareback and saddle bronc riding, team roping, steer wrestling and tie-down roping. This year's rodeo also includes the crowd favorite, mutton busting, along with funny man, Kenny Petet, and his Chuckwagon Races. As the Royal celebrates 60 years of rodeo tradition and 110 years of Kansas City history, we will also pay tribute to all military branches that continue to serve our country year after year.
